One of the more recent industrial developments in West Blacket is the telephone exchange on the corner of Duncan Street and Upper Gray Street. It isn't a beautiful building and parking by BT vans poses a traffic hazard. These vans appear to be immune to parking tickets on the grounds that they are "engaged in urgent repairs" or, we suspect, drinking coffee. Since these pictures were taken in 1991, the colours of BT vans have changed, but the traffic hazards haven't.
